Caithness born Sheila Finlayson osteopath principal qualified in1989 From her four year course at the ESO course in 1989 becoming a registered osteopath. She worked for other osteopaths gaining experience before setting up her own practice in Edinburgh and Thurso in 1991. She worked in Thurso and Edinburgh for four years before starting work in New Zealand where osteopathy is an integral part of the health system.
She chaired the ethics committee in New Zealand for Osteopaths.
Was Osteopath to the Scottish Womens Rugby team for 2 seasons
She was a competitive surfer and bodyboarder representing Scotland in the British, Irish and Europeans. She played rugby in Scotland New Zealand playing for the Bay of Plenty Region.
Since returning to Scotland in 2004 she has concentrated on being a mother and her family and building a practice and a multidisciplinary clinic which she is very proud of; they are an amazing team.
